MISSION STATEMENT
Elk Grove Surf is dedicated to promoting the sport of soccer among the local youth and providing an outlet for players to train and compete.
Soccer means family, teamwork, and a chance to thrive. At Elk Grove Surf, our goal is to provide girls and boys with a first-class, highly competitive soccer experience where they can strengthen their physical, mental and social skills. We are a development-first club and provide player-centric experiences that build community and pride.
PLAYER PATHWAY
US SOCCER PATHWAYS STRATEGY
While the top tiers of US Club Soccer’s competition pathway are the club-based ECNL and ECNL RL, the team-based NPL is the top level of team-based play in the pathway.
The success of this pathway will be enhanced by a new postseason competition in the 2026-27 postseason, in which NPL qualifiers will compete against ECNL RL qualifiers. Details of this postseason structure will be announced in the coming weeks.
